Matthew 4:1-11

After fasting for forty days and nights, Jesus faces three temptations: to turn stones into bread, to test God by throwing Himself from the temple, and to gain worldly power by worshiping Satan. Each time, Jesus resists by relying on God’s word. The passage shows Jesus’ obedience, self-control, and faithfulness to God, and it ends with Satan leaving and angels caring for Him.
