1 Corinthians 1:26-31

Paul reminds the believers that most of them were not powerful, wealthy, or influential when they were called. Yet God chose what is weak, lowly, and despised by the world to shame the strong and wise. This shows that salvation is entirely by God’s grace, so no one can boast. Christ has become our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption—therefore, all boasting should be in the Lord alone.
