Hebrews 10:1-18

Hebrews 10:1–18 explains that the sacrifices of the Old Testament law could never fully remove sin; they had to be offered repeatedly because they were only a shadow of what was to come. Jesus came to do God’s will and offered one perfect sacrifice—himself—for sins once for all. Unlike the old priests who continually offered sacrifices, Christ’s work is finished, and he now sits at God’s right hand. Through his sacrifice, believers are forgiven, made holy, and brought into the blessings of the new covenant, where God writes his law on their hearts and remembers their sins no more.
