Hebrews 2:1-9
Apr 26, 2026 • Daniel Hancock
Hebrews 2:1–9 urges believers to pay careful attention to the message of salvation so they do not drift away. The author warns that neglecting such a great salvation—confirmed by the Lord and witnessed by signs and wonders—brings serious consequences. He then reflects on humanity’s intended glory and dominion (echoing Psalm 8), acknowledging that while we do not yet see everything in subjection to man, we do see Jesus—temporarily made lower than the angels—now crowned with glory and honor because of His suffering and death, securing salvation for all.
