“Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!“ Jesus said these words about Nathaniel. Could he say the same about you? We all know the answer to the Israelite part, but what about the “no deceit” part? If Jesus identified us, would he identify us as a man or woman in whom there is not deceit? Or as someone who was hiding something?
At C3, we want our DGroups's to not just be a place where we can know God better, but a place where we can be known better. In this episode of You're Not Crazy, Ray Ortlund and Sam Allberry discuss the importance of honesty and honor in a gospel community. I'd like for you to listen to this episode and answer the questions below in the comment section below. I hope that this helps you and your group continue to grow in the knowledge of God and bear fruit.
GITKOG&BF,
John
Questions:
1.) What are a couple practical things you can do in our DGroup to cultivate honesty and honor?
2.) Could you actually have a time when you meet to literally go around the table honoring one another?
3.) What was something that really resonated with you from this episode? And what steps will you take to put what you heard into practice?
